Research findings have little impact upon business results unless they are conveyed well and set within the appropriate context.   However, there is perhaps no greater gap in the area of research consulting than in the effective interpretation and presentation of results.  Too many survey professionals offer only tables of means and frequencies, with very little meaningful interpretation or analysis. The findings from a well-developed survey should speak clearly to the business questions, and so too should the survey consultants.
